Lovin' the Felicity Paper!!
I took a few minutes today to work on a layout using the paper from the Felicity set. It is incredibly gorgeous! I was inspired from the artwork from the artwork brochure that comes with the pack to do this layout. The design is from Reflections by Jeanette Lynton. At first I was nervous to cut into the die cut paper, but once I did I had so much fun! I am excited to keep creating with the rest of the paper! I also stamped directly on the page...another thing I sometimes get nervous about...but I loved how it turned out and it was so easy to do! If you look close, you can see all the bitty sparkles. They are currently one of my most favorite embellishments. A little bit of bling to brighten your page!
I've had this photo for a couple of years, tucked away and now I get to enjoy it. I just may frame this one and hang it up above my desk so I can see it every day!

Christmas Gift Tags!
Here's a fun way to dress up your Christmas gifts & packages while using up all your scraps! Cut cardstock 3X6, fold in half and adhere your scrap paper, stamped images, ribbon, buttons or brads. Have fun using up all those leftovers! I whipped these up one night when I needed a quick project and used them to attach to last minute Christmas goodies. Simple and quick! I love those types of projects. Happy stamping!

A Christmas ornament, CTMH style!
A fun way to dress up your tree. Curl paper strips (about 1/4 inch wide, 6 inches long), place inside a clear glass ornament. Add a tag - don't forget the date! Mine is on the back. Lots of fun for kids, too.
To curl strips, strip them like you would curl ribbon with scissors, then wrap around a pen tightly, carefully pull off and your ready for the next one! Have fun!

Creative Basics Jingle Collection
One of my favorite products in each catalog is the Creative Basics Collection. You get several sheets of two designs and coordinating ribbon! So many fun possibilities! Here is a little accordion album I made using cardstock and just part of two sheets of paper, ribbon & a few sparkles. It is perfect for wallet size photos! It would make a cute little stocking stuffer, too!

Tickled pink for workshops!
I've been a busy girl lately both with projects and learning how to sew. This is what I've been up too - sewing bags! Here's the last one I made! It's a shopping bag for my craft store trips! Fun, fun! Here I have it full of Close to My Heart goodies :)
It's been quite a learning process and I am thankful for my sweet friends for showing me the way! I don't know what I'd do without you Jaime & Tracie!
I've also been working on card projects. The latest one is making cards in bulk using workshop guides. I wanted to whip up some cards recently for gifts and I pulled out our awesome Wishes book by Jeanette Lynton. It provides cutting guides and instructions for making simple cards. I made these cards using just two pieces of cardstock and one sheet of B&T duos paper and the card bases. I cut, stamped and assembled the cards all in one evening and had 16 cards to show for it. Super fun & easy! The paper & stamp set I used was from Tickled Pink, a previous constant campaign from last year.

Beware!
The new Beware stamp set is currently one of my favorites! It's almost time for Halloween fun!
This first card I made using the same design from a card in the idea book. I just changed up the colors of the paper to utilize paper I had on hand. To make the bat, stamp the image a second time in black, cut out and adhere in the middle and lift up the bat's wings a bit so it looks 3-D.
This second card I created using up the scrap paper I had leftover. To make the trick or treat label, I created a mask to cover up the journaling lines so it was left blank where the lines would have been. Then I went back and stamped trick or treat in Garden Green. Spooky fun! I used CTMH brads, stamps & ink.

Animal Cookies!
One of my favorite paper packs from the summer idea book is Animal Cookies! The paper is so fun & happy! I made a little 5X7 album for my youngest for his first year. Now, I just have to get the pictures in and he'll have a little peek at how much he has grown from month to month! I used the My Creations 3-Ring Binder, Animal Cookies level 2 paper pack & the Today's Date stamp set.
And a little proof that once in a while I do get a moment to scrap a page :) Again, using Animal Cookies, Simple Alphabet Dimensional Elements, buttons & Bigger Brads.

There's still time!
Don't forget - post your comment with your favorite new item under the "Little Giveway" post below!
Here's my first attempt at a circle card. I'm totally addicted to sparkles lately! A little bling goes a long way! I used a pattern from Wishes, Close to My Heart's new design book by Jeanette Lynton. Enjoy!

Twitterpated!
I'm so excited to be having my very first card workshop! It will be on September 30. I absolutely love this paper pack! I put together my cards last week and this is what the cards in the basic kit look like:
There is an option to add on to the basic kit which includes brads, hemp and dimensional elements that coordinate with the twitterpated paper packet. This is what your cards look like with the additional embellishments.
The best part of the workshop set up is that each person not only leaves with two of each card, but they take home their extra paper and supplies and the guide that has directions for additional projects to make at home! If you're interested in coming, please let me know! Sign ups must be done by Sept 14th to allow enough time to order the kits.
